Waggytail Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and permanant
placement of animals in NYC. While we specialize in Chihuahuas, we've helped critters from a Chinchilla to a Great Dane find happy, forever homes.
Most of our animals are rescued from the city pound (kill shelter). We feed them nutritious foods, care for any unresolved behavioral issues.
As all of our rescues live in foster homes until they are adopted, we are always looking for great foster parents. Anyone living in the NYC area interested in fostering a dog can visit our foster page.
