These five guys from Giessen/Muenster of course are not the first ones asking what suceeds Emo...But seldomly the results sound as mature as on their brandnew EP "Lieutenant Dan".
Northern european pathetic experimental soundscapes littered by some upbeat straight-forward songs. Imagine the aggressive raw early Jimmy eat world meeting the melancholic laid-back Editors, add some splashes of Sigur Ros..s or Elliott..s artfulness and you get a picture of the unique sound this band creates.
This unique mixture adds up to a sound that almost anybody can enjoy.
Starting out in 2000 as a three-piece the first full-length "on a sunday" was published soon.
When tired happy homecoming arrived on the scene 2004, the band had shifted their focus on more complex and varied songs, musical and lyrics-wise, yet still with honesty and weakness attached to the lyrics.
2008 arrived the much awaited EP "Lieutenant Dan", where more upbeat disco-like-rhythms are incorporated.
This band is set for bringing passionate music to the streets and clubs, leaving audiences overwhelmed and sweating...

2005 saw appearances at Freakstock..s mainstage and Christmas Rock night as well as in the livingroom-like atmosphere of Sofa Soundz at Muenster rocking like shit...
When "tired happy homecoming" came out it was reviewed in theGerman Indie music mag Intro and moved to the 2nd best sold CD in the ASAPH (label distribution) charts, 1500 so far. In january 07 a concert hosted by the "Batschkapp" in Frankfurt was broadcasted on German TV stations HR and WDR in the format "newcomer TV".
In June 07 followed a tour with the violet burning (USA), concluding at Freakfest in the Czech rep. 2007 saw participation at Flevo Festival in Holland and Christmas Rock night, this time on mainstage...at Freakstock 08 the band was headlining the mainstage. Keep on rocking in the free world...

hallo jungs und männer, vielen dank für das geile konzert bei uns in wetzlar-naunheim. auch wenn wenig leute da waren habt ihr ne tolle show gemacht. hat mir voll gefallen - auch dass ihr von allen cd..s was gespielt habt! alles gute euch tschau christian
war so mega am freitag beim tag der sachsen...hab zwar viel geld ausgegeben aber es hat sich gelohnt...bin so mega happy schon wochen zuvor hab ich mich tierischst gefreut das ihr vorbeikommt und ein konzi gebt... und echt, ihr seit live ja mal so mega toll ♥,...hoffe ihr kommt demnächst mal wieder in die gegend!?!?!?!
