hey friends. WE ARE DISBANDED!!! THANKS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT! Wake up on fire is from Baltimore Maryland.
This is the only website for WUOF.
We first started practicing about 4 years ago (the end of 2002 i think?) in an ancient crypt known as the basement of the baltimore Food not Bombs house, it had the stench of Mufasas' doggy doo doo....what an inspiration!
ugh.. im hungover.. i'll get back to fixing this.
Our intent was to create something fresh in the D.I.Y. music community of baltimore.
The full list of members through the years have included Jo, Tim, Christine, Kevin, Mis, JustDave, Chris Control, Boo, Kerrie, and Bob. Bands we were in before are: Objection 2 Oppression, 2AM Revolution, Apache Resistance, and Inure.
We have since broken up.
Our last show was in september of 04' at the Nanci Raygun in Richmond, VA.
All isnt dead in the realm of music in Baltimore. New bands have formed: NUX VOMICA, MOONSHINE, and 57 OCTAVES BELOW. Soon to be another new band forming with Kevin, Kerrie, and Jo. Info on all the bands contacts is in the blogg section.
Thanks to all our friends all over the country and here in baltimore. Much
love to everybody we met on the road during the 3 tours for all the help, food, and overall great adventures. its been awesome!
