   About Chopper
Chopper dealt in energetic, buzzsaw, hi-speed tunes with plenty backing vocals and released tracks on German and Australian compilation CDs, a Japanese split 7" and a Fierce Panda compilation 7" in addition to the Crackle! releases below. They played a load of gigs around the UK and toured Japan twice as well as putting a load of bands on at the Players in Wakefield. Then after playing a gig at Leeds Fenton mid 98 they split up the day after, leaving behind a cracking debut long player and a lot of happy memories.

Discography:
On Crackle Records:
Said And Done 7" EP - May 1994
Self Preservation Society 7" EP - March 1995
Porcelain 7" EP - January 1996
For Youth And Valour 7" EP - October 1996
Split Japanese Tour 7" EP - November 1996 (with Broccoli)
Harry Belafonte Split 7" EP - March 1997 (with Blew)
Did You Hear That? CD - July 1997
Last Call For The Dancers LP/CD - July 1998

Other Stuff:
The Best Punk Rock in England Son CD - Snuffy Smile, Japan 1995 (My New Name)
Songs About Plucking 2x7" - Fierce Panda, UK 1996 (Porcelain)
The British Punk Invasion Volume2 CD - High Society International, Gremany 1996

Am absolutely gutted about Chopper/Pylon withdrawal from Out Of Spite 10. Apparently Joe has a filming opportunity, but i still never get to see my favourite UK band of all time!

I've loads of great memories of gigs we did together over the years, but the one that sticks out most was the one we did in Buxton, I think it was Chris's first gig if I remember rightly ? The kids went wild, do you remember that one?
Happy new year!

big chris has become a custard addict. he is now found wandering round council estates looking for his next "serving".
often seen carrying a bag of soya milk and a pan, in prepartion for his next hit.
let this be a lesson, desserts may be fun, BUT custard is a VERY bad substance!

I just did a GIGANTIC update to my Snuffy Smile catalogue!!! There's just a few gaps left in it now and I even started adding album covers to it! I'm definitely crazy for attempting that. But it's the only Snuffy listing in the world so I might as well do it right! If anyone can contribute a missing pic or anything - help a brother out! (use my website email for anyone not on my friends list)
