Bob Walkenhorst has been a presence in the music scene for over 25 years. From his early bar days with the band Steve Bob & Rich, to his years of international acclaim as songwriter and lead singer for The Rainmakers, Bob's unique vocals and viewpoints have gathered him a dedicated following. His acoustic performances feature many Rainmakers favorites, as well as new songs from his ongoing songwriting adventures.
Joining Bob on guitar and piano is long-time Kansas City musician Jeff Porter, an accomplished singer and songwriter in his own right. Their acoustic performances have the strength and professionalism that have come with years in the music business, but maintain the joy and spontaneity of true believers who discover something new every time they play.

Bob, I will be playing at ARTichokes Friday night, 7/24 at 7:30. Are you still hanging your work on their walls? If you have the time, come by and say hello. Ken
St Cloud MN show was highlight of my 7,000 mile bike trip. Planning another quick jaunt from Canada to MS in August to see you guys again. Thanks Bob and Jeff
Thanks, Bob. Looking forward to a show soon and keeping up with your song listings on the page. Always enjoyed your work. Stay well. Be good. Do good. Ken
WOW! The cd party was a blast, I don't know how you guys manage to get better every time, but you do! Congrats on the cd, video and the best show ever!
Hi guys - thanks for including me. I'm working every Wednesday these days, and I sure miss being able to come to your shows at the Record Bar (not that I wish I wasn't working... ya know - it's a mixed blessing, I guess). I love the tunes you have up and the video - I totally respect your song writing. Great to hear from you. Keep up the good work.
NO ABANDON is absolutely wonderful! I'm going to need to buy lots more copies for friends, everyone must hear it! Thanks for sharing the love guys, you're the best!
Here's a photo for a future album. Jeff should write a song about his old, but handy tool box. It sure made a handy piano bench in a pinch! I also want to add that I just finished listening to the new CD, twice, and the only word I can come up with is, WOW! Marie:)
Thanks for the add Gents! - can't wait to hear some new tunes! Remember: Polka rules all it surveys!!!......................................................but it's also prone to being blind drunk and thus misses quite a bit!
