| About Walker’s Run |

In the late nineties/early eighties, Walker’s Run developed a large and loyal following in Virginia for their fiery Rockbridge County mountain-music. Walking the line between tradition and exploration, the group packed major venues and sold thousands of copies of its debut CD before taking a long-term hiatus in 2002, when founding member Brennan Gilmore headed overseas.
Since then, the band members have all continued musical explorations of diverse stripes: from experimental rock fusion to collaborations with West and North African musicians to producing widely-acclaimed bluegrass records. Now they're all back in the same time zone and every once in a while get together to relive the halcyion days and if you're still reading this you are something special.
