The history of We Are One productions aka W.A.O. Events
We Are One productions also known as W.A.O. Events was founded in Eugene Oregon mid 2005 by three people who had a vision of unity between all the tribes in Eugene: Myndi Montgomery- retired (Formally We Are One), Roo-W.A.O. Events(local raver of 7 years), and Kris Mosher-W.A.O. Events (TempesT, local raver of 10 years). We Are One's first gathering unofficially happened in early September 2006 and was entitled "Burning Midget: The Dead Wood Revival" (Dead Wood has since become a continuing project of Thoughtshop) It was a small gathering of 70 people or so, with ghetto PA speakers and no charge, just a dance party for the fam. The line-up consisted of Vidas, Big Daddy Scamp & Mr. Myron-Living Funk System(The first show the two played out at), Weapon-X-Flux Pro(who brought out Myron and Scamp), and Agent Epsylon aka Planewalker-Lucid Dream Records(who rented a car just to come down and play for free). Almost a total success.
The real first gathering of WAO was a much more serious and moving night, on the way home from Burning Midget a boy driving to his home state fell asleep at the wheel and crashed... tragically not making it. That boy's name was Holden, and the members of We Are One threw a gathering in his honor named "Remembrance" to help raise money for his family. 21 DJ's and producers from all over the Northwest (Including Hooch, Epsylon, Weapon X, Sofa King Cool, C120, Mandala, Andrew Mataus, Vidas, Jeigh Baldwin, Opium Sunset, Sebastian,Bid Daddy Scamp, Indigo Montoya, and more) were summoned to Eugene to play in his memory on two stages, through a new 20,000 watt system purchased by a young Promoter named Luke aka Mandala-A.W.L. Gatherings(Formally Mirror of Four-C). The gathering was held at the Other Side Cafe and a $5 dollar donation was asked, that night WAO saw it's vision come true as they had dreamed... all the tribes of Eugene united, 570 people dancing in Holden's honor and a community who came together.
We Are One has evolved and changed a great deal since that 11th of November, and has quite a few more shows under their belt:

-ENERGY Monthly Haus and Trance night (Haus & Trance/Unified stage/Originally at the Orion Cafe in Cottage Grove, then at the World Flavors Cafe, Eugene Oregon-Last Friday of each month for 13 months)
-The Call Of Cthulhu (Psychedelic Trance, Downtempo/Two stages/Private family land, Cottage Grove Oregon- November 1st 2008)
-V for Valentine (FREE EVENT) (House, Psytrance/Unified stage/Private South Eugene house, Cottage Grove Oregon- February 14th 2009)
