ABOUT WASTEDOver the last 3 years Wasted has slowly spread like a fire in the underbrush of the European live circuit. With mere demo material Wasted have been favoured to tour with and support international artists like Electric Eel Shock, AntiProduct, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Nashville Pussy and most recent The Answer and the Bloodhound Gang.
With a good balance of (hard) rock songs and more complex slow songs Wasted create their own unique blend. The Wasted sound is founded on the many shared inspirations from the bands members as diverse as Tom Petty, Motorhead, Aerosmith, the Dixie Chicks and so many others.
Lead singer Alex B.L.; “Wasted is set to bring a bit of pleasurable mayhem to a town near you! Any band can bring it on mp3, but delivering on stage night after night is another ballgame”. Guitarist Frank ads; “To put that much mileage on the machine supporting legendary artists such as the MC5 and Dee Dee Ramone makes an awesome but tough learning school, us grunts learning from the veterans”.
Drummer Roland completes the band since mid 2006. “We're in the middle of recording our first studio album and it sounds big, written from the heart and own experience. A total outlet for our inner joy and rage. Backed up by our friends at Story Sound (sound engineers Alicia Keys, Zappa plays Zappa) we're bringing that stage energy to cd for the first time”, Roland smiles. “We're having fun taking this climbing road”.
