I write music. I don't really write it for people, although I tend to feel nervous when putting it on display and I get really excited when someone likes it. I don't really write it for myself, although I nitpick to no end after the fact about how much better it could have been, and I like to listen to my own music a great deal.
I think in the end that I write my music for God. while some people probably think that's stupid, and most people think that's really cliche, it's the truth. I can't please everyone. I can't even please myself with my music a lot of the time. the only person who will ever accept everything I make for Him is God.
