I love politics! I love reading, mostly non-fiction. Anything about politics, history, etc. The only fiction that is REALLY a guilty pleasure for me is Anne Rice, probably because her stories are usually in a historical context they suck me in.
As I briefly mentioned history above, it is one thing I love. I am a card caring MN Historical Society member and the girls and I love visiting museums and historical sites. Its actually really inexpensive and we've used it a lot more than I thought we would. I live close to art museums which are fun places to wander through as well.
I'm not all that serious, though it may seem like it from what I've written so far. I laugh a lot - mostly at life, myself, or my kids! Life is too short not to!

I have an eclectic taste in music, though it never hurts to expand even more. Hip-hop, R&B and Soul are probably my first loves. Look through my friends list, I have some of my favs saved!!!
Anyone who has overcome adversity to become a better and stronger person. Also, Mother Teresa, MLK Jr., JFK, Jimmy Carter, and many, many more who have worked to make this a better country, a better world and to do God's work of love and charity. I have met Michelle Obama, but I only briefly got to shake Barack Obama's hand - I would LOVE to get to actually sit down and talk to him!!!!
