| About Weapons Of Mass DeFunktion |
|
Weapons of Mass Defunktion is one of the newest groups coming up on the Madison music scene creating a worthy buzz. Influences come from all walks of music including funk, jazz, hip-hop, r&b, rock and reggae and the overall sound brings a fresh and daring approach to the vibe on the club scene. The band consists of bassist Lucas Khoeler(Beelzedub), guitarist Steve Truesdell(ex-Natty Nation), and rounding out the groove collective is sax player Pete Ross(Clyde Stubblefield), Raquel Aleman(Que Flavor) on vocals, Jay Goya(DJ), Raphe Bains on percussion and one of Madison’s most well known drummers Rand Moore . The live show brings an intense, groove that fills the crowd with energy and an all around positive vibe that makes your body rock!!!!! The band is currently getting ready to head into the studio for a 2009 release
