InfluencesWe live in a haunted house. Sometimes the ghosts wake us up in the middle of the night. Sometimes they play music, but only on the piano or the violin.

We met in an elevator. This is a true story.

We would like to write an entire album on the tin whistle. First we need to learn the tin whistle.

Sounds LikeIn the Parlor With the Moon (2008):

"Perfectly crafted bedroom pop."

Band of the Week, Pop Tarts Suck Toasted

"It is beautiful and great."

Heather Williams, Capital District Federation of Ideas

"Perfect, intimate, folky bedroom music for musing on your future and singing along to under your breath."

The Tape It's Not Sticky

"(A) nifty little 12-song album."

Greg Haymes, Times Union

Hansel and Gretel; Stories from the Stove (2007):

"Hansel and Gretel; Stories from the Stove sounds like one month in an old funeral parlor. Surrounded by melting candles shoved inside old wine bottles, clocks that don't tell time and great big giant mirrors taken from abandoned old train stations."

NPR's All Songs Considered, quoting We are Jeneric

"Melodically mind-blowing..."
"Hansel & Gretel; Stories from the Stove is one of the top five albums of 2007"

Harith Abdullah, The Rev Records
