We Govern We is comprised of two lovely core members, Panos Scourtis and the ABC Monster. It all started on a mid October night after band rehearsal, when the two were sharing an evening of acoustic guitar strumming which inspired a stream of lyrics that wrote themselves until dawn broke.
The first tunes were based on humor, fear, heartbreak and the poetry that comes of little everyday things (like running after goats or visiting caves at 4 in the morning...). The first single: Dead Pretty, has been remixed by Master of the Decks: Kos Markatos, who now has his hands on a handful of new tracks by the duo. A video for the single has been directed by Yannis Zafeiriou.
We Govern We bring honesty and creativity to music and art, and thrive on working with other artists with fervor for life and living. Beyond music, We Govern We is a forum for photographers, directors and artists to come together and generate creativity amongst one another. Whilst Panos’ background is immersed in music, ABC monster has studied Fine Arts and Film and the two together work to bring all aspects of art together under one roof, namely: We Govern We.
WGW is currently looking for a producer for the album, ORIGAMI LESSON ONE, and is rehearsing with a full band (Mike Kyriakides on bass, Andreas Tsiroulis ..boards and Aggelos Tanis on drums) for live shows.
