Weird Paul Petroskey is one good lookin' S.O.B. But more importantly, he writes the damn catchiest songs. Paul began releasing his own cassettes in the late 80's. In 1991, Homestead Records released "Lo Fidelity, Hi Anxiety", Paul's now hard to find cult classic CD. Since then, Paul is back to releasing his own albums, including his latest, MEDICALLY NECESSARY. Currently, having written or co-written almost 600 songs, Paul has about 20 albums worth of music available for purchase (see weirdpaulmusic.com). On APRIL 21, 2006, the new hour-long documentary on Weird Paul - Weird Paul, A Lo Fidelity Documentary - by Chicago filmmaker Stacey Goldschmidt - showed at the Harris Theater in downtown Pittsburgh (See the trailer at this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=muup-361HLo) It has since played at the Chicago Underground Film Festival and in Leeds, England at the Leeds International Film Festival. It features interviews with Lou Barlow, Calvin Johnson, John S. Hall, Britt Daniel (Spoon), Mr. HCI (Happy Flowers) and more. Weird Paul is BACK, BAYBEE!

Thank you so much for rocking Blacksburg the other night!!! I'm glad to finally not be sick (I think I had a bug or something). Now its dealing with fixing vans and not being stuck in the country.
Happy birthday, indeed!!
Thanks again, Weird Paul. You really made that party for me.
What people have been whispering about is TRUE! Strange sightings… Unexplained phenomena. . . scientific anomalies… My friends in Squonk Opera will be responding to the cover-ups with… ASTRO - RAMA!
With 3 stories of scaffolding and a 40 ft radio telescope, Squonk Opera will take you on a wild visual and musical celebration of the universe and our place in it.
Part symphony, part cacophony, Astro-Rama dares to go where no multi-media/theater/performance group has gone before.
Rising in scissor lift platforms and cherry pickers, Squonk will compose a proud message from our species, power up and transmit.
Stand with us, and the truth will be revealed.
