"It is the tale of five local musicians who rediscovered the healing power, the abandon, the who-gives-a-fuck-balls-to-the-wall attitude of rock n' roll by going glam" (Philaelphia City Paper)
Welcome To My Face was formed in in early '82. Why? To kick ass. Why? To drink their asses off. And thats what they do. WTMF paid their dues for years in the gutters of Philadelphia and while success overseas seemed to florish success in the states was elusive; and whats more, internal struggles began to damage the band. From the infamous behind-the-stage fist-fight between drummer Tommy St. Thomas and bassist Jay Cee Roxohv during the Asian MTV Video Music Awards to the religious switching of guitar players (including Nigel Tuffnel, Richie Kiltzen, D.D. SeVille and Jack Van Halen), WTMF's downfall was inevitable. In early 2003 they broke up forever...or so they thought...
In late 2003 original guitar players Valentine St. Francis and Brent "Superfuckin" Nova reunited w/ singer Casey Wayne for a series of small acoustic gigs, it was then they realized the world had not forgotten about Welcome To My Face. They pulled bassist Roxohv out of his AA meetings, drummer Tommy St. Thomas halted his waxing treatments and the 2004 World Tour was scheduled.
So come out to a show and rock with us. And don't resent us, its not our fault we can dress like chicks and still manage to rock this hard, it just worked out that way. Now, you go do your thang, we're gonna go get laid - radical.
