The Cork air, funny random experiences, friends, funky chords & denim jeans, broken relationships, fixed relationships, life, death, life after death, the sky, the moon, the star star teaching us how to shine, hands that help us pen a rhyme, and dreaming of travelling back in time. Jack Johnson, BellX1, The Beatles, The Kooks, Beathoven, Snow Patrol, Mozart, the 60's, 70's, 80's,nineties & 00's, comedy, summer time, winter time, good food, good company, bad company, Heaven, Hell and all thats in between.
Sounds Like
2 acoustic guitars with a violin playing along mainly at the chorus's.

Starting our musical journey jamming at impromptu parties, we soon started playing at the local open mic nights back in 2004. Going under the incredibly original name of 'Tom & AJ', we progressed onto the next level by getting our own gigs, supporting up and coming local acts and obtaining residency in local music venues.
The joining of Cork violin player Ann Lehane soon facilitated the need for a new name, and so, the momentous name change to 'well red' came about in January 2005.
After AJ entered and went on to win a singer/songwriter competition held in Cork city, we headed down to Blue Monkey studios in Bandon for 3 days to record our first demo EP, which was the prize for winning the competition.
Since then we have been gigging around the city and beyond, establishing ourselves in a city that is thriving with fantastic musical talent.
With a new violin player (Lyn O' Reilly) we now concentrate on honing our live act while constantly maturing from a musical and songwriting point of view. If our music is anything.........Its honest!
