What Once Was existed from roughly spring of 2004 to spring of 2007, over those 3 years we've played hundreds of shows, made numerous friends, and even more totally fucking sweet memories. This is being typed almost 3 years to the day of our first show, and seriously... so much rediculous shit has transpired through the existence of this band. Wether it be an incredible experience playing the palladium and having the intro to the set be the Halo theme song, or sitting outside of a show with a jar of ground cinnamon giving away free merch to people who would try to down a spoonful (yes, it was a ripped off idea but totally worth it). One could go on forever if I put my mind to it, but I'm pretty fucking bushed right now and I have work at 6 in the morning. So yeah we tried starting things over again under the moniker "Reign" (we even recorded a new demo, we'll get to that later) but things just didn't work out. We didn't hold the same collective vision as we once did, so it felt best to call it off before it became something we resented. Here is the obligatory thank you to: all of our friends, the bands we've played with, Stash, Ian, Diana, the Nowell's, the O'Brien's, anyone who has ever booked us, 8 hour car rides, 9 dollar tolls, anyone who bought a t-shirt/poorly made cd, Freetitsville NY, and basically anyone who gave us a listen, or stuck around for a set.. seriously, thank you.

(for the Reign tracks, talk to Billy, he's the only one with them, and fair warning: their unmixed/unmastered, but very listenable.)
