These Black Metal Rituals were inspired by, performed and recorded in natural environments. Please read our blog for more details about the recording sessions... .. .. .. ..Keep listening... .. .. ..The first track, "We Cower in the Storms of Her Retribution" was recorded in our usual Nature Preserve environment on a very hot and sunny day last summer. You should really crank it up to hear all the details of the vocal conjurations... .. .. ..The next 2 songs, "Tears For The Sounds Of Darkness Parts 1 and 2", are actually one 14 minute track and engulfed in the very sounds of the forest night where it was recorded. Also, due to Myspace file size limitations, the song had to be divided into two parts... .. .. .. ..The wall of noise you hear is composed entirely of night creatures... .. .. ..If you are still listening to the songs at this point, then you obviously have the patience and intelligence to comprehend the obscure and ritualistic ideology behind this project... .. .. ..Nature sounds in these songs are NOT samples mixed with the music, as many others have done, but the actual surrounding atmosphere while the music was recorded. This project is an experiment to commune with nature in a truly pagan and ritualistic manner... .. .. ..The first "When Bitter Spring Sleeps" CD is now available from PaganFlames.com.. .. .. ..Along with several other forest recordings which are ready for release, we are currently working on a few more studio tracks which will be available late 2009 from Lundr Records / PaganFlames.com. This will be a split CD releasing with the mighty Panopticon. The split CD will include tracks from both Panopticon and When Bitter Spring Sleeps and one track that will feature the skills of both bands combined...
