The dawn of When Hope Falls began in 2005 under the name Imagination by the three guys Magnus Fredman, Ozzy Sjöström and Tony Nilsson. They were rehearsing in a school at that time. In september 2006 they were joined by the guitarist Arthur Börjeson (Triple 6) who started in the band as a bass-player. Now the whole show was on. In early 2007 Tony decided to quit , but it was for the better as they now started to evolve more quickly. Arthur took the drumming position and they recorded their first demo called Fallen in G1 Studios located in Strömstad. The same year they were joined by Olle Swärd on bass, and Ludvig Jacobsson (Triple 6, Skanana Kim) on drums. Therefor, Arthur could take place as a guitarist. In early 2008 they entered the famous The Abyss Studios to record their new album called Shadows And I with the producer Tommy Tägtgren (producer of bands as Sabaton, Maze Of Torment, Ragnarök, Shining etc.).
This new Melodic Death Metal band from Strömstad has now come to stay.
2008 is the year when When Hope Falls is going to give it all out. No mercy is given from this angry band from Strömstad. It's now or never!

Helt brutalt på gymnasiet ikväll...svin grym sång en av dom bättre growl rösterna på länge, men snälla be ozzy o låta bli o sjung(hehhee) sånt där "mode" är bara tråkigt. annars en jävigt bra spelning saknade däremot en hel del engagemang från eran bassist. tror ni kan komma långt om ni bara fortsätter i samma takt.
