I once scored 18th of 35,000 bands worldwide in Musician Magazine's "BUB" contest. And while being courted by (Chrysalis Records) said company was gutted by EMI.. Cest La Vie. It is no matter. A true artist works because they are compelled to.. Not for STATUS. I'm simply a human seeking non-linear status.. What does that mean? Only a certain number need to know, for the whole to be effected. I'm not here to be a star. I am simply here in the now. Mass adulation appeals o the "ID." Ego is the barrier to the higher consciousness. Acquiessing to criticism (for the sake of approval) strengthens the illusion of self. The true artist creates, as the alternative is madness.
