Expect beards, western shirts, long hair, and denim. Oh and good music too. Seriously. If you’re 21+ and have $8, you should be there. Think of it as a lesson in American music history, but cooler."

Opener, Whispering Pines… a tuneful, creative ensemble mining strains of country, folk, and rock music with very satisfying results. Adept and entertaining with their chiming/twanging/sliding guitars and hearty vocal harmonies. {the Pines}are descendants of Southern Cali forebears such as The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, the Flying Burrito Brothers, Poco and the Eagles, with varying degrees of rock, roll, and rustic in their DNA. What a perfect way to spend an early spring twilight in the City of the Angels.”

Call it Bellbottom Blues. Call it southern-american cosmic-rock via Willie's place and down Laurel canyon in a dune buggy. Call it anything. We're five Los Angeles musicians who got tired of having our musical principles diverted. We've been sharing stages together for several years as veterans and current members of many a fine rock band: The Good Time Women, The Shore, Jonathan Wilson, The Moon Upstairs, Moving To France, Calamity Magnet, Craig Stark, Bolero, Maplewood, The Garrets, Appaloosa, Fairechild, The Eyes, Sons and Lovers, Denim, Reno Bo, The Hi-Hos, and The Frequency. We've loved playing and sampling life with these fine folks and now we're putting those experiences into song... Our way.
Tumble weeds scattered when the 15 Cent Wash came in-on the scene. It was the late 1960s. This was a time for new revolution. It may have been forgotten ... but only submerged behind the mind. New services were provided, and the people forgot; into bliss - The clothes were clean and dry.
