Moderate Democrats like me are starting to think all the Democratic lawmakers are knuckling under to the insurance lobbyists and the conservaDems. Please say it ain't so! Any Health Care reform without a Strong Public Option is a waste of time, and unworthy of being called Health Care reform. Stay with the true majority of Americans, and the base values of our party! Please don't sell us out now!

WHAT HAPPENED TO 18 MONTHS THAT OBAMA WAS LYING TO THE NATION ABOUT... EXACTLY WHO IS RUNNING THIS COUNTRY? WHICH LIE DO YOU WANT US TO BELIEVE? "The Pentagon chief said the initial U.S. troop withdrawal in July 2011 might involve only a small number of troops. "......... THIS IS A BUNCH OF BS ... YOU TELL THE PUBLIC WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR THEN YOU NEVER FOLLOW THROUGH WITH IT. You should bring our troops home. They can defend America on American soil.. I understand the nuclear armed Pakistan & the worry about those weapons ending up in the wrong hands .... IF PAKISTAN CAN'T PROTECT THEIR NUCLEAR WEAPONS THEN THEY SHOULDN'T OWN THEM !!!! Take the weapons & destroy them, problem solved. Better yet.. take the weapons & detonate them in the mountains where the Taliban are hiding.. American forces can't do their jobs effectively.. everyone wants them to win the war but they have to "play by the rules" ... Forget about the Geneva Convention.. forget about the Hague Conventions.. The people who want to do harm to America don't follow the guidelines ... They have already proved that with 9-11 ... Let our forces have the power to win this so they can come home .. What happened to the dwell time policy for our troops ???? IT'S BEING TAKEN AWAY !!!! They are men & women not machines ... 8 years worth of war is destroying the American forces & their families.. If they are lucky enough to get 12 months home, the majority of it is spent training & preparing for their next deployment... What a way to boost morale .. I know all of this is falling on deaf ears.. Washington doesn't care what the people have to say unless it's election time ... but in 3 years when it's time to elect or re-elect a president then you can bet the nation will remember.. Love And romance	Dec 6 2009 4:25 PM Hello President Obama: You are doing great. Keep up the good work. It was a serious security flaw, oversight and risk for the the Salahi couple to crash the party. AGREED. However, I also saw photos of the Salahis posing with the you, the President and the vice president, too. It is possible that those photos may not be genuine. However, if they are, then why all the noise about their crashing the party? Mrs. Salahi, though not always honest is a beautiful woman and wife and most people would invite her and feel happy even if she crashes their party!. Her beauty alone should be enough reason not to have her and her husband arrested for the security breach. They are just seeking for free media publicity but just did not do it properly. The fact is the White House is not owned by only the politicians. It was built by the American people with tax payer's money and therefore it is the people's house and should be open to all American people. Since it appears the Salahis know both the President and the Vice president and might have posed for pics with them in the past, they should not be arrested. Annette & Lisa	Dec 5 2009 4:06 PM I am sitting here wondering how this healthcare bill can go from something so simply stated , to a 2,000 page mess that it has become now ? Since I am not one of the elite who has never gone without insurance I feel compelled to speak freely ! I also suffer from a chronic syndrom , and without insurance I suffered in excrutiating pain EVERY single day ! Now I am really concerned that the task at hand has been forgotten just as WE the American public has been . We need insurance for EVERYONE ! This may not fit into a politically driven BILL !!! It MUST be driven by HUMAN compation !!! Please reel this in and make it a reality .
