I White Pulp nascono da un’idea di Sonny.
Dopo aver suonato nei Posthuman (Marilyn Manson tribute band) per 3 anni (piu’ di 200 concerti), decide di dare vita a un nuovo progetto arricchendo i brani con forti sonorità electro/new wave.La band considera la struttura di un brano come un flusso di idee ed emozioni da violentare e allo stesso tempo cullare su un tappeto di note.
Un brano va composto nel minor tempo possibile per non perdere il vero senso di cio’ che si prova in un preciso istante.
Solitamente le loro canzoni nascono da qualche riff di chitarra, la voce e i testi di Sonny mostrano al meglio il messaggio della band; una calma apparente che viene sovrastata nei ritornelli da una carica esplosiva come se non ci fosse mai pace.
I testi non vengono scritti seguendo una logica narrativa, ma semplicemente seguendo un flusso inconscio senza permettere che alcuna forma di razionalità abbia la meglio.
Nessie Zorba ha suonato nella band come bassista dal 2004 al 2007.

White Pulp is an idea of Sonny.
After three years playing in Posthuman (a Marilyn Manson tribute band) with more then 200 gigs, he decided to start with a new project with a strong electro/new wave sound.
White Pulp creates their songs by shaping emotions. The band creates a range of emotions from a fluid stream to a angry storm yet cradled with a blanket of notes.
The band feels a song needs to be created in a short period of time to avoid losing the actual feeling. That it the feelings must be released and captured at the same time.
White pulp’s songs arise from an initial round of guitar; with sonny’s voice and lyrics representing the true message of the band. They have an apparent quietness that escalates to an over-the-top explosive power, embodying a lack of peace.
The lyrics have been written deliberately without following a narrative logic. They are only written following the minds unconscious yet profound creations.
There show has been called “impressive” and “put together beautifully”.
Nessie Zorba was the bassist of the band from 2004 to 2007.

I White Pulp sono tanto musicalmente “dotati” che potrebbero essere considerati i Rocco Siffredi del rock italiano. Un furioso cono di luce, un muro di note che non concede vie di fuga. “Ashamed Of Yourself” è un album di grande Rock (con la “R” maiuscola).

Fedeli ai loro "maestri" Nine Inch Nails ma, al tempo stesso, dotati di grande personalità, i White Pulp danno il là alla ancor giovane storia con un disco dalle molte sfaccettature, il cui ascolto ci permette di tirare un sospiro di sollievo, rendendoci consci del fatto che, ancora una volta, la scena rock italiana è più viva e arrabbiata che mai.

Questo album, ispirandosi a mostri sacri come NIN e Tool, può soddisfare diversi gusti musicali, da chi ama il genere calmo ed intimista, a chi adora l'head banging, visto che le tracce si snodano dal medio-tranquillo, all'energico, allo strumentale dolce, al banchetto di suoni violenti, per poi ritornare ad un poco di dolcezza e di colpo risvegliare nuovamente dal torpore. E' molto difficile fare un album così ben bilanciato sotto questo aspetto, e i White Pulp non sembrano secondi a nessuno in questo.

Chitarre che ruggiscono con rintocchi di synth e tastiere, con una voce spettrale e forte, che guida danze rock post moderne. I White Pulp si sono misurati anche su palchi americani – il Cat Club e The Joint a Hollywood, per esempio - uscendone sempre vincitori.
