White Wizzard hails from Los Angeles CA. Tired of the same old down-tuned screamo metal that seems to be everywhere these days, Jon Leon formed White Wizzard in the summer of 2007. The goal was simple - to bring the songwriting, melody and good times back into metal and rock.
A 7 song EP was recorded in the fall of 2007 with the first line up and was well received and is about to be released worldwide. White Wizzard is currently in the studio working on it's first full length album. The release date is hopeful to be later in 2009.
3 songs from the forthcoming album have been put up here on the MySpace page for everyone to hear a preview of the amazing album that is to follow. With a screaming demon on vocals, a tight 2 guitar attack that can shred AND play with feel, thunderous melodic bass and drums, White Wizzard is poised to take the torch of the great metal bands of the past and look to the future with a dominating spirit and memorable melodic hooks and songwriting. See you on tour in 2009.

Thanks for adding me. Great job on your awesome song High Speed GTO! not only congrats on a cool song, but a damn addictive one at that! can't stop playing it in my head. the film clip was fucking insane, love it.
i have 2 questions though, that youth who appeared in the High Speed GTO vid doing vocals, doesn't seem to appear in the band lineup, and secondly, where can i find the lyrics to that song?
Haha! For sure!! Bass cab up/down those stairs is a COMPLETE nightmare!! We try and get people out, but you're right it can be tough ... rock/metal has a more selective audiance, can't sell it to everyone but when we can get it to enough of the true fans we can have a rad turnout.
We would be WAY pumped on hitting the Viper Room with you guys ... sounds like you know others that could help make it cool, which is awesome. Looks like you guys have quite a tour lined up ... hope it is very successful, when you guys get back we can line up the LA gig. SHRED HARD BROTHERS!!
