About Whose Muddy Shoes
Whose Muddy Shoes is an acoustic quartet playing original tunes with a unique selection of familiar and lesser known American classics. The WMS style emphasizes high energy arrangements with full bodied vocal harmony, playing traditional blues, folk, and other classic Americana along with original tunes. The quartet format features acoustic guitar, bass, clarinet and saxophone, with three and four part vocal harmony. Whose Muddy Shoes has been together for over seven years in its present fformat, and has played in numerous Boston and New England venues. Currently, the Quartet performs regularly at the Chianti Café in Beverly, MA. Our first CD release party at Club Passim in Cambridge, MA during the summer of 1998 was sold out. Our second CD, All In Good Time, was released in April of 2008, living up to its name admirably! The Shoes are available for private functions, and have played weddings, anniversary parties, conferences, house concerts and parties, picnics, walk-a-thons, and festivals. We played a Bar Mitzvah once also, and it had catered Chinese food! This sentence is here so that the following link knows where it should go on this page.
