wicked mystick muzick is a music production company i started officially in early 2007. after playing lead guitar for over 20 years in various bands and studio recordings, I decided to go into the world o0f full time music production after a series of unfortunate health problems. I figured that nothing was going to stop me from writing music and getting it out to the fans. Besides, now my world is limitless. Since i already am fluent on several different instruments, it makes things better. I like to play my own live bass and guitars, as well as use alot of live keyboards for my sounds, therefore not relying on loops and samples...Not that i don't use those too.
I use Logic Pro 8, Reason, Roland mv 8800, various plug ins by Native Instruments, I.K. Multimedia, Motu, I also use various interfaces by Pre sonus. In the way of equiptment, i have many guitars, most of them being 7 string models, i have Ibanez uv 777bk, and a bunch of other 7 strings by Ibanez and Schecter. My 6 strings include my beloved PRS custom, and my newest addition, an original USA ESP Custom once owned by Michael Wilton.I have various keyboards by M-Audio, as well as my Korg Triton. I usually use plug ins running midi, though so i usuallly use my 88 key M-Audio. For guitar recording i use Guitar Rig, Amplitube, or my Mesa Triple Rectifier. For Bass, i just use either my old Ibanez 5 string or my ratty Fender 5 string. I also use Cubase occasionally, if i have to do some fast recording on a PC.
For about the past year or so, I have been blessed to be working alongside the Wu Tang Clan. I was first introduced to Armel the Great through our great friend and MC general Jihad. From there, Armel took me under his wing and gradually i have created a great friendship and respect for all of my Wu Tang brothers! Lately, i have been recording with such greats as Armel ( who is Gza's prodigy), Prodigal Sunn and 60 second assassin(Sunz Of Man),12 0' Clock(brooklyn zu), Yung Masta, Divine Elohim, Leggezin Da Fin, and many more. There are alot of new projects up and coming as well. In the past year, I have been able to live out my dreams. It has been great! I have gone on tours with Wu Tang and Gza, I've developed a great working relationship with The Most High, and have acheived things I once thought were impossible.
I would like to thank God, all my Wu Tang Killa Beez, all of the people I have met, and a special thanks to Armel The Great for all the things you have done for me both as a friend, and as my teacher. I also want to thank Gza for putting up with me and being so kind and generous. I am hoping to work with the many talented artists out there who just need that leg up.
