This month, June, Superspace Records has finally released the 4 way split IZADOS 2 (HOISTINGS 2), the bands included with me are Tica - from Peru too -, Avrocar and The Failed Nasa Experiment - from England - .. the artwork of the disc is just nice.. if anyone is interested in getting this gem, feel free to email me: polyluna@hotmail.com /////// So this new year, 2008, I will put out a split with Tica and 2 bands from U.K.!!! ;).. it will be the IZADOS (hoistings) 2. Also there is an amazing... recording Pez Plátano, Christian Galarreta, Sam Hamilton and me did this January 10th... it has to be release...!!!! Finally, by June I think my 2nd album will be released ///////////// My new solo album "FREEDOM" released just now... you can buy it at US$ 8 plus shipping tax...//////////////// My first own band was AVALONIA, it was an ethereal noise band of 1996.... we were influenced by bands like Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine or Silvania... then we split and I created FRACTAL... in the beginning Fractal sounded with guitars but by the time we published our unique demo tape, in December 1998, Fractal sounded like a mixture of Kraftwerk, Suicide, E.A.R. and Silver Apples... Then I decided to begin the new millenium with a new project called EL CONEJO DE GAIA... I published some eps and the final cdr album called "Hidralo" was released in January of 2004.... some people said it sounded like Tomorrowland + M.I.M.E.O. et. al. ... In these times I've had other projects like THE ELECTRIC BUTTERFLIES -with Wilmer Terrones Vegas- and TÉRMINUS -with Josué Ponce Barreda-.... I guess the more poppy was The Electric Butterflies -we got an amazing review by Nick Southgate in the issue of April 2005 in the famous magazine The Wire. ///////
I've had also some other projects like THE PERUVIAN RED ROCKETS (with Luis Durand) and AZUCENA KÁNTRIX (with Christian Galarreta)... the 2nd album of Azucena Kántrix, "Reorganización", was reviewed in the spanish magazine Rock De Luxe. Now, since 2006 I play under my civil name: WILDER GONZALES AGREDA.... I put out a split with the great english project of Jon Attwood, Yellow6... it was reviewed in Losing Today magazine... you can read that article in my myspace blog.... "Donde no están" – Christian Galarreta Bajo este nombre presentare un conjunto de obras que compuse durante distintos años y que tienen en común la exploración de un rango audible cercano al silencio. El material utilizado para estas composiciones fueron las casi imperceptibles texturas sonoras que producen algunos aparatos electrónicos al procesar información o señal: como mezcladores de audio, discos duros o lectoras de CD. También utilice infrasonidos y ultrasonidos obtenidos mediante la aplicación de diferentes técnicas de síntesis y filtrado de grabaciones de campo hechas en la selva peruana y la urbe limeña. La estructuración de estas obras ha sido trabajada con el fin de crear un efecto psicoacústico profundo en el oyente, el uso de audífonos para su audición podría potenciar esta cualidad. Al ser este el formato de exhibición que se nos propuso usar en el festival Lima Sonora decidí mostrar por primera vez esta selección aquí.
