   About Wil Forbis
Wil Forbis is a musician, author and aspiring pornographic film actor in Los Angeles. He regularly performs under his own name, with Dafni, and with the Grievous Angels. You can buy his new book, "Acid Logic: A Decade of Humorous Writing on Pop Culture, Trash Cinema and Rebel Music" from Amazon.com. His alt-country album, "Shadey's Jukebox" is available shortly from Rankoutsider Records. (Scroll down for info about the album.)

Here's what people are saying about the Acid Logic book:

"Wil is a cynic's cynic, but in the depths of his filthy black heart he hasn't forgotten how to love. Or how to write."
Mike Daisey, monologuist ("How Theater Failed America") and author ("21 Dog Years: Doing Time @ Amazon.com ")

"Forbis has that rare thing, an open mind, with tons of random stuff flowing through it, and a crow's eye for the glittering oddities of pop culture."
John Richardson, author "My Father the Spy," "In the Little World"

"...the most entertaining book I’ve read all year. Forbis’ juxtaposition of subtlety, cynicism, and over the top ranting (not to mention his penchant for asking his interview subjects truly interesting questions) makes for a dizzying ride through the annals of pop culture..."
Rich Evans, Exotic Underground Magazine (xmag.com)

"Take one part Rolling Stone’s Lester Bangs with two parts National Lampoon’s Michael O’Donoghue and stir in a swizzle stick of Salon.com’s Cintra Wilson, and you have the intoxicatingly addictive cocktail that is Wil Forbis."
Earl Horlyck, Sioux City Weekender

Taking the Jesus Pill was a play/cabaret/concert theatrical extravaganza I worked on a few years ago. And I know your song - I think of TTJP when I hear it :)

There's a good chance I could make it out on Friday. I'm quite overdue for some social misbehavin'.

From: Cindy Sheehan for Congress 2008
Date: Sep 24, 2008 5:57 PM

Wherever possible and to whatever email lists you have, please send out our protest announcement:

Cindy Sheehan for Congress demands that NOT ONE of our tax dollars be used to bail out Wall Street corporate pirates.

Cindy Sheehan for Congress demands a personal bottom-up bail out plan. The Bush crime family plan would cost each and every American (regardless of political party) over 2300.00 to help rescue an irresponsible and greedy industry that is failing because of unregulated speculation and predatory lending and trading practices.

This is our money, people, and if we don't speak up loudly to have our voices heard, we are participating in the biggest robbery in American history. We may as well be driving the get-away car. A crime of historic proportions is about to be perpetrated that you know will go unpunished by the complicit Democrats. The evidence is clear: this incestuous corporate/government co-operation throws it in our face once again that the establishment elite are in it together---against We the People.
Nancy Pelosi (D-SF) is not the only Congress member that receives money from these industries or is invested in these same indstries, in a clear conflict of interest!

It is not time for a Bi-partisan solution since we know the two party monopoly is only there to protect itself an
