Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. - in addition to
being exposed to music and the music industry since birth.
At the age of 21 years old Will Champlin is on the verge
of holding his own among an industry of giants.
Over the years Will has evolved into a talented and
gifted singer, songwriter, musician and producer.
He is an accomplished and versatile piano player, and
can also play bass guitar and drums. Attended the Berklee School Of Music in Boston MA. Some of Will's greatest musical influences are: Stevie Wonder, Billy Preston, Bruce Hornsby, as well as many others.
Will’s father has been a lifetime member of the infamous
rock band CHICAGO. His mother is an accomplished songwriter
and vocalist. Throughout Will's life his parents strongly encouraged and fostered his natural musical abilities.
In 2006, Will toured extensively as Frontman and Lead Singer for
The Salvador Santana Band - opening for Carlos Santana and
The Los Lonely Boys in major concert venues across the U.S.
Being the great songwriter he is, Will has had the opportunity to work with many top songwriters in the business such as; Andreas Carlsson, Desmond Child, Rivers Rutherford, Brett James, Eric Bazilian, and many others.
Will is a poet with an R&B/Rock/Pop style that has been
inspired by the honest heart of a dreamer, the spirit of a
romantic, coupled with a transparent lyrical message. He is able tell a
story thru thought provoking lyrics, in which his current
project and fans will attest too. Wills tenacity and passion is
evident in everything he does. His charisma and soul is portrayed
in every one of his songs.
Will's greatest aspiration and determination is to touch many peoples lives
thru his music and lyrics ....

Hey Will...we're playing our Nashville debut tomorrow (thursday the 24th) night at the Basement. I guess that's today because it's 2AM. We just played La Salle, IL and it was wild as hell.

Anyway man, the TV show in NYC last night was an amazing experience. They said I made some of the crew in the control room cry during one of my performances. How cool is that! I will tell you more about it later. Let's talk soon. God bless.
