About me:

I'M FASHION DESIGNER, people think I've just started my career as a Fashion Designer, But my career started in the 7th grade when I cut out my first pot holder and apron, but when I entered High School I always wanted to be a nurse, but God had other plans for my life, after going thru a series of class to determine my career, I ended up in the Fashion design department Ms.Dunay, but after graduation High School, I still ended up pushing towards a career as a nurse, but I became a medical assistant, and working in that field for over 20 years of my life, but low and behold fashion was calling me once again, so I went back to school to learn what was new in the fashion industry because things do change,but my sewing and pattern technique was not in question, but my computer skills was up in the air.Entering school at my age was so amazing, and I met some amazing people. Stephanie Taylor is the best Fashion Director anyone could ever have,Andre Van Pier designer to the stars has taken me on professional ride through the fashion industry, we've been so many amazing places thru New York City, connections thru school landed me at New York Fashion Week, Project Runway, Issac Mizarhi show, Vera Wang, LA Fashion Week, John Blassingame( Hype Hair magazine, Black Men/Women magazine, and many more places to come. I always say DESIGNERS ARE NOT MADE THERE BORN. I owe all of what I do to God because he made me, and the amazing people he allowed me to meet along the way, Ron Cook, Sunny Morrison, Chelle Hanford, Cookie, Katherine Neal, Zach Eichman, Fern Mallis, Andrew, Crevante, Saida, Allison, Eva Scanlan,I believe we meet people that God place in our path towards our destiny in life, he has a plan an a purpose for every one of us, and we must knowledge him in everything that we do, meaning giving him thanks because where would we be without him (GOD) on our side. I find it to be amazing to share and give back the talent which was given to me, I met more amazing people in the last year, Ron Cook, Cookie Dabney, Im glad that I was able to show for our Troops at Fort Monroe Base in VA it was a wonderful feeling. Its been a wonderful year so far 2009, I had the pleasure of graceing two magazines and the front covers of our President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle it couldn't get no better than that, Grace Toaday and Heart&Soul,Fashion shows has been amazing, Fashion On the Hudson with BTETV, Thank You Sofia Davis. I receive Courture Deisgner of 2009, thank you Sofia for the award.
