Will's Pub is back.
I promise this is not another false alarm. It figures -- with all of the times I've had tentative dates for a possible grand opening, grand openings that never happened during the past two-plus years, the grand opening would happen while I'm on vacation.
But I was delighted to hear the minute I got back from my honeymoon that Will Walker officially had opened his new bar at 1042 N. Mills Ave. in Orlando -- that's right, it's still Will's on Mills. And I said five words I wasn't quite sure I would ever say again: "I'm going to Will's tonight."

Generally speaking, text messages from men don’t give me boners. The sole, instantaneous exception, however, is the one I got from Will Walker announcing the pub’s Friday opening (Nov. 21). Not surprisingly, the night was a who’s who of the local rock scene. Now I’d love to tell you in specific terms how great opening night was but, well, I can’t really remember much. And I’d say that pretty much says it all. The two most uttered words in this year’s pre-turkey lists of blessings will likely be “Will’s” and “Pub.”
