Wintersoul was founded in the fall of the frozen winds of 2006. In a short time a couple of songs were written and recorded by the ice-cold legion taking grim influence of the legends of the extreme metal art. The recording sessions took place on two dark winter nights in 2007.

In the same year the band unleashed its first cold blast hailstorm of nails, entitled "Dawn Of Ice Hearts", yielding positive critical acclaim and label interest from within the metal scene. As the storms are raging and snow is falling, a furious extreme metal machine is in the progress of working on a full length album to be unleashed in 2008!

Prepare for battle… the winter holocaust has begun…
