Once upon a time at a party in the summer of 2004, the sounds of Metallica were blasting through the PA-system. Seeing this music as the summum of metal Dieter Vangeneugden, Willem Leijssen and Kevin Bloemen decided to choose some songs from the masters themselves, and jam to it 2 weeks later. By that time Pieter Driesen made the line up complete and the horsemen had saddled their steeds…After that first rehearsel they felt that they should be a tribute to Metallica and thus they became ‘The Four Horsemen’.
After a lot of shows paying hommage to their heroes they had earned quite some respect from Metallica fans, colleague bands and music fans in general. But they also kept hearing ‘yeah, you can play some metalsongs, but can you write some metalsongs?’
That being a valid question, they decided to write the best damn songs they could write and try to put all those doubts to rest. After eight months of hard work they had finished writing four, what they felt to be, kick ass metal songs. So in April 2007 they jumped in the studio to record those songs and name that demo ‘Bite The Bullet’! Now they’re out to unleash their metalmayhem upon the world and to gig their asses off as Withhold!

Als er ooit een optreden is in de regio rond Mechelen kom ik zien, wegens mijn tekort aan een rijbewijs geraak ik niet verder weg. Jullie klinken echt geweldig! :)
