WOLFMANGLER's music is slow, grim, noisy and shambling doom metal constructed around a bowed double bass, one or two electric bass guitars and whatever other instruments were available. Approximately half the songs are constructed around dissonant doom riffs; the rest consist of covers of folk songs, classical music pieces and jazz standards. WOLFMANGLER was based in Texas from 2004-2005 but has now been reborn in a Polish version.
