I know there are a lot of Wolf-bands out there but I decided that Wolff is my name and I'm keepin' it. I've been planning this project and making albums for a while but it has just now come to fruition as a complete entity unto itself. I previously played in some bands out of Austin, Texas where I used to live, one of which was called Drums and Tuba and for a while there we were playing well over two hundred shows a year. Last fall I hid in my apartment and worked on being able to pull this solo act off live. The concept I was working with is that all the sounds are generated by, with, and through the tuba itself with the help of numerous guitar pedals and other sundry looping devices. Singing is through the tuba. Percussion is banging on the tuba. You get the picture. And by the way, there's no need to be afraid. It's not nearly as scary as it sounds. I just added the amazing Steve Garafano (drums) to the mix and we are currently finishing an album together with other musical guests such as the one and only Tony Pratt singing on a couple songs. The album is being produced and engineered by Paul Mahajan and Mark Ephraim and should be done shortly...

Shut Up and Play the Tuba
You are a brave man. Going forth boldly where no man has gone before. Why can't a tuba player be a pop star? Can you dance while you do all this crazy stuff? Best of luck. I love it.
are you in okc on nov. 4th? because there is a mysterious band called "wolff and tuba" on the showlist. that would be awesome, im driving down for sure!
Wish I could just head to Pianos tomorrow when I get off of work... Get a drink... Watch you load in all of your equipment and fiddle with it till it's together... then sit, chill, talk. Sounds nice, doesn't it? And then I'd get to hear you play!! That would be a good Friday night.
saw you at the recher with buckethead, you guys were both awesome. i knew you'd probably be pretty great, as you were opening for buckethead, but didn't expect half of what i heard, you were stellar. i was wondering what you use for looping, i've never looked much into hardware for it, but whatever you used sounded great.
Hey, I was at your show the other night at Babeville in Buffalo NY, and I just wanted to say that you were freaking awesome!!! You'll always have a fan here, and I hope you come back soon!
What's up man? You were amazing in Omaha on the 13th. I have been letting a bunch of people listen to your album, because I can not explain your amazingness properly haha. Everyone loves it! Great work man. My favorite albums are the ones where nearly 100% of the sounds are all from/with the tuba. Amazing. But I do have to ask you one off subject question...
Since you are touring with him, have you seen Buckethead unmasked? hahaha. Sorry, I had to ask. And do you call him buckethead or brian?
Hello, I'm from Italy and I saw you at Pianos last May during my New York trip! I was amazed by your show/music. You're great and the drummer too! Keep up this great project!
I just recorded a new track partly influenced by you/your music. have a listen if you have the chance. Next time you come to Boston, I'm ordering tickets!!
