Music
Bon Jovi, Celine Dion, Linkin Park, Finger Eleven, Three Days Grace, Michael Bolton, Bryan Adams, Van Morrison, Peter Gabriel, Sting, Shania Twain, Reba McEntire, AC/DC, Josh Groban, Andrea Boccelli,...everything from classical to country really except Tecnho. And except Marilyn Manson. He's too scary for a nice girl like me.
Movies
Sleepers, West Side Story, Gone With The Wind (though I only enjoy the Scarlett and Rhett scenes. It's waaaaaay too long) Titanic, (what? yeah that's long too, shaddap)Lord of The Rings (all three) Anything Russell Crowe touches, Anything Gerard Butler touches, Anything Kate Winslet touches (except Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind. Meh. Not much into the Jim Carrey)Anything Diane Lane touches. (Unfaithful. Good God) Anything Al Pacino touches. I admit Godfather 3 was my favorite, so there. Godfather 2 was all right and the first one just bored me. (runs away from them that are chasing me with torches) North and South (the James Read, Patrick Swayze version) Oh the pretties!
Television
Supernatural. Oh. My. Gravy. S4 is gonna frakking rock!Friends. I cannot know it's on and not watch. Yes, I've seen them all, yes I know almost all the dialogue. 24, Lost this season is much better than the last one. Two and a Half Men. It snuck up on me. Days, thank you for hiring James Scott. Best move ever. You brought me back.
Law & Order. Thank you for hiring Jeremy Sisto. Best move ever.
Reba. That is one hilarious country singer. Anything on the Food Network. Rachel Ray is my crack. Terminator, the Sarah Connor Chronicles. Thank you for hiring David Sil-..er Brian Austin Green. Best move ever. Firefly. I have the DVD's. It still counts. BSG...though I'm hanging on by the skin of my teeth there, after what they did to Lee and Kara, I'm just a passive fan now, waiting to see how MooreRon screws up the rest. It's like watching a train wreck really. No. I'm not bitter.
And Kings and Castle...hey, talk about a crossover waiting to happen, huh? Kings is a big old rich piece of glitzy glamorous chocolate cake. Castle, oh Nathan, you rapscallion you!
Books
Oy vey...that's quite a list. Diana Gabaldon's Jamie/Claire series. Paullina Simons Bronze Horseman trilogy. Anything by Julia Quinn, Victoria Alexander, Lisa Kleypas, Lavryle Spencer, Noel Barber's A Woman of Cairo (best romance written by a man. Ever) Anything by Edward Rutherfurd (especially Sarum) Karen Marie Moning (best highlander smut ever) Kinely MacGregor...who I think is the same person as KMM. Jaid Black. The queen of erotica.
Jean Auel's Clan Of the Cave Bear. Elizabeth Adler's Legacy Of Secrets...and many many many many more.
Heroes
My grandma, God rest her soul. 13 kids, 8 died and she never lost her faith. Ever.
Jesus. Dude gets nailed to a cross and still forgives everybody. That's brave. Or insane. (potato/pot-ah-to)
Mary(Virgin) Yeah, if some spook came to me and asked me if I wanted to have God's baby, not to sure I'd say yeah.
Anyone who goes after their dreams, disregarding fear and naysayers.
I'm Nancy, a 30 year old freelance writer who once masqueraded as a housekeeping aide for a big bad ass hospital for the most entertaining group of elderly jewish folk you could ever hope to meet.
I write anything. Really. Except for maybe the mating habits of turtles...but ya know, I think I could look that up so, yeah, I write anything. Usually it's parenting, relationship type stuff.
Currently working from home, living my dream of writing full time.
I cook. Love to cook, more than I like to eat actually and am brainstorming the idea for a Serves One cookbook.
Also working on dirty books. Porn. Ahem! (kicks un-PC me) Erotica.
Basically, if you give me money, I'll do anything...write, I'll write anything.
Poe over at the Days/Ejami forum Forbidden Love made this trailer for the fanfic I'm writing there. She did a ridiculously awesome job. It looks like a frakking movie trailer!

The editor/agent/publisher who just thinks my work is the cat's meow.
The man who first decided to put cheese on fries. You know he's in heaven.
Paullina Simons. Frakking awesome writer. Her words are music.
The guy who will understand that my writing is who I am.
Oh, and Mary, both Magdalagne and Virgin. That would have been cool, then I could ask them how many times they wanted smack Jesus upside the head.

Greetings my friend. I'm worn out from working in the garden and carpel tunnel has flared up,
but here's my news in case you haven’t heard. Please help me spread the word.

Pop into my NEW blog: http://bethtrissel.blogspot.com/ And send your friends and relations (That sound like Rabbit in Winnie the Pooh)

Hi Nancy, You may know I’m a Virginian living in the lovely Shenandoah Valley, but did you realize my family has been here for several hundred years, and that the driving force behind my writing has been my passion for Virginia and its rich past? I’m sharing my love of The Old Dominion at Terry O’Dell’s site. Please stop by and leave me a comment or ask a question. I’ll be in and out: http://terryodell.blogspot.com/ Pic of our farm
Hi Nancy, Welcome and thanks for being a friend on my Book Profile! My novel is getting excellent reviews, which you can read on my "REVIEWS & FEEDBACK" Blog. "Life After Phantom: Opera Erotica" is available at Amazon.com andBarnesandNoble.com (International shipping)
I'm whacked and down on the couch for the rest of the day/evening.
Very unseasonably warm here. Having to water in the greenhouse like mad, plus all the new plants outside. Today I was like a mother duck trying to keep up with her brood.
We had the whole family over for a cookout. I made my rhubarb pudding with rhubarb from the garden and had spinach that wintered over for the salad and asparagus.
Our best asparagus patches were planted by the birds. This pic is one my mom took of a mama mallard and her ducklings. If you like ducks, be sure to check out the post I wrote earlier this spring about our experience with these fine feathered friends.
Absolutely gorgeous here today. I had a good day working in my greenhouse. Tomorrow, the garden. The reason sunflowers are coming up everywhere is because of these guys. They fling seed willy nilly while chattering merrily. I’ve never known more euphoric little birds. To enjoy their glad chatter plant sunflowers and a flock gold finches will discover your yard. Obviously, they also like feeders.
OK, so I’ve had better days. I’m on an antibiotic for the creeping crud and I broke my glasses and my sister had to ducktape them together at the brim. While my wee nieces were here, one of them went potty on the rug and the other poured my hubby’s aftershave in the toilet. But it’s a beautiful day, and my new release, Daughter of the Wind, is selling well at Amazon even though it’s not officially out yet.
Breaking news! Woo hooo! I'm excited to be holding advance copies of my new book! Release date May 1st. May day! If you know anyone who might be interested please help me spread the word.
Daughter of the Wind is a historical/light paranormal romance with strong Native American elements. Available from The Wild Rose Press in E-book and paperback, also from Amazon and other major online booksellers. Local bookstores can order it in.
