After debuting at the Canopy Club in Urbana, Ill. on November 28, 2008, World’s First Flying Machine has constantly been crowding onto stages too small for the sextet and the menagerie of instruments that accompany them. They’ve crammed themselves and their always enthusiastic fans into clubs, bars, vegan restaurants, dorms, elevators and even an Urban Outfitters. In a little over a year of performing, WFFM has opened for acclaimed acts including Black Mountain, Headlights, David Dondero, Titus Andronicus, and Dark Meat.
WFFM has been recording an album, The House You're Living In, which will be released early in the fall of 2009.
