Worm started off in the summer of '03 as the brain-child of Mikke (guitar/vox) and Gregg(bass/vox.) Songs were written based on their influences and beliefs, the beginnings of the working class rock outfit. Colman was added on skins before the end of the year, and the trio perfected their art through numerous basement shows and at venues across the south shore and cape. Worm is a Socially conscience band with a distinct style. We like to call our music working class rock because that's what we are. We are regular people with regular jobs, just trying to survive. Our sound is the fast paced-ness of oldschool Punk with the heavy over tones of Metal and the dark mystique of 90's grunge.
The summer of '04 brought their first "real" demo, dubbed Diddler. Unhappy with its final outcome, songs were improved and the lads of Worm sought out a real recording studio. Richard Marr of Galaxy Park Studios was the obvious choice after some research, and the trio embarked on their first Ep recording session in the winter of '04.
2005 saw the release Of Worm's first EP/ single entitled "Piss ON Authority" featuring 4 new tracks at the time. They also added another Guitarist for the shows that would follow the release of "Piss ON Authority" enter Crane-O. They played a number of shows that year and wrote one kick ass rock n roll song called "Misery" with Crane-O which they reveiled at Jamnesty 2005 show to a packed crowd at Norwell high School. They continued playing shows evenually parting ways with Crane-O and adding Zero on second guitar for the last recorded show they played at Curry College. Which saw "Society" get some college radio play that day.
2008 We're back with new and old members, new songs of all varities and merc's as well as sober minds we'll maybe from time to time. Were hoping to jump right back into the Boston music scene and realease a full- lenght on CD and Vinyl by the end of the year. The music has mature like us over the last couple years but don't think one bit that we went soft. We're still Working Class Punks with a lot of attitude ready to tell our audience exactly the way the world is with the cards we we're dealt. Power to the People, Power to the Working Class, Power to the Men and Women, Who work hard all day and bust their Ass - Tree 1993
