Destiny called for Wreck-A-Mic to adorn this title in order to illustrate the future of hip-hop music and ultimately make it thrive. As a paramount figure in Texas' music industry, the rapper has set a major precedence. With an advanced vocabulary, hard punch lines and a hustler's mentality, Wreck-A-Mic emblazons a fresh new outlook on the world of hip-hop. Dallas musician Wreck-A-Mic has proved time and time again that he can flawlessly wreck on any mike handed to him. This home-grown, dynamic artist can be described as a universal talent through his ability to bridge the gap between underground hip-hop and the mainstream. As a student at the University of North Texas, Wreck-A-Mic possessed the ability to mesmerize his diverse associates with his hard-hitting flows. He began to engage with more audiences on a local level and eventually drew in larger crowds with his club-banging melodies. Since being encompassed with the gift for music at an early age, he has excelled and hit the industry at a potent momentum. While attending UNT, Wreck-A-Mic joined forces with DJ Frosty, co-founder of GLO Productions and Campus Kingz DJs. Wreck-A-Mic's talent and clever wordplay have garnered him performances on stage with Dorrough, Soulja Boy Tell 'Em, Juelz Santana, Scarface, and Lil' Flip. In addition, he has been featured on numerous mixtapes and has collaborated with platinum selling artist Paul Wall, Chalie Boy, Giovanni Tha King, Big Tuck, and many more. Wreck-A-Mic has also released breakthrough hits such as "Peep the Way I Strut" featuring Teflon and Mango, as well as the highly-anticipated "It Goes Down" featuring Paul Wall. Wreck-A-Mic's emerging endeavors have built up much anticipation among his fans. His upcoming solo releases are entitled "Wreck-A-Mic Is.... Grizzly Bear Adams" with Da Hitman (Lord Gang/Coast 2 Coast/Mixtape Syndicate) and "Blood Money," which was mixed by DJ Frosty and hosted by Paul Wall. He has also showcased his staying power in the industry with his newest single "Ziplock Fresh" which was produced by platinum producer 2 Much of Dorrough's "Ice Cream Paint Job."
