"Wrong Again" formed in the fall of 2005 on the grounds at UC Santa Barbara. The original lineup consisted of Trevor Zinn on Vocals and Lead Guitar, Cayton Erhardt on Rhythm Guitar, Niels Rassmusen on Bass, Matt Hayes on Drums, Eli Kersch on Percussion, and Charlie Rundell on Saxophone. Their first show was at an open mic at Giovanni’s Pizza in Isla Vista, later that year they went on to record a five song demo, “The First Mistake.” That first demo enabled the band to break into the Santa Barbara music scene, then spread out to more of Southern California including Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego. In 2007, after parting ways with Eli (Perc.), "Wrong Again" recorded their first full length album, "Right for the First Time,” at Stryker Studio’s in Santa Barbara. After the album was complete, the band parted ways with Charlie (Sax), but continued to play shows in and around Santa Barbara as a four piece for close to two years. In January 2009, "Wrong Again" joined forces with Gabriel Soriano, a singer-songwriter/multi-instrumentalist. Since 2005, Gabriel has released a demo and 2 EP's and has also completed 3 tours, the first of which was with Trevor. Gabriel and Trevor both serve as frontmen and lead guitarists, giving "Wrong Again" a unique, thick sound that is rock, funk, reggae, and blues. The band is now a 5-piece and is striving to play more shows, record more songs, and improve as musicians. Please contact "Wrong Again" through Myspace if you are interested in booking a show or if you have any questions. The band looks forward to meeting anyone and everyone. Peace and Love.
