X DARAWISH is a music group that plays world music and it was founded in BARI,ITALY in 1997.The group consists of STRATOS DIAMANTIS,ENZO LEONE and DIMOSTHENIS TSAMIS.Stratos and Enzo met at the and of the nineteen eighties at the university of BARI and both were members of the group AL DARAWISH. With AL DARAWISH they recorded two records, AL DARAWISH in 1992 (by il ponte sonoro),and RADIO DERVISH in 1996 (by il manifesto) for which they won the cagnony quality reads award for the use of accordion in Italian pop music by Stratos Diamantis. When in 1997 AL DARAWISH broke up ,some of the members started the group RADIODERVISH while Stratos and Enzo gave life to the group X DARAWISH with Angelo Pantaleo, Rocco Draicchio , Kostis Maraveyas and Domenico Ricco. In the same year they won first prize at the" pop and rock festival of Athens" that was organized by the radio station "Rock FM" the music school "filipos Nakas " and FM RECORDS company. In 1998 they recorded their first album "UNA RATSA MIA FATSA " (By FM RECORDS) which was released in Italy in 2000 (by IL MANIFESTO) and in the rest of Europe by (Koch International) with the participation of Vassilis Saleas on the clarinet and Andreas Pappas on percussions. In the same year they also released the videoclip from the single "NARGHILE " directed by NIKOS SOULIS. The song "Narghile'"was chosen by the French radio station RFI MUSIQUE in the collection for "TOP OF EUROPEAN POPS". X DARAWISH rapresented Greece and Italy in the same group with U2 and the single "sweetest thing " of Ireland. XDARAWISH have appeared in hundreds of television and radio shows ,have given over six hundred concerts in all of Europe and have taken part in different festivals like CARPINO FOLK FESTIVAL in Italy in 1997 ,CATERPILLAR FESTIVAL in Italy in 1998, YEA FESTIVAL in Greece in 1998, DRANOUTER FOLK FESTIVAL in Belgium in 1999, SUONI DAL MONDO IN RIVA DEL GARDA in Italy in 2001, FESTIVAL OF ARGOS in Greece in 2003 and 2008, FESTIVAL MEDITERRANEO OF CONVERSANO in Italy in 2005 and 2008, FESTIVAL MUSICHE DAL MONDO in Italy in 2006,COSMOPOLIS FESTIVAL in Greece in 2008 and have shared the stage with musicians like Bob Dylan, Nick Cave,James Taylor ,Elvis Costello.The new record of X DARAWISH "domino" was released in Greece in April 2008 by "Kathreftis".

Del gruppo Al Darawish, Diamantis come fisarmonicista e Leone come chittarista.
Il gruppo incide due album:
AL DARAWISH nel 1993 e RADIO DERVISH nel 1996, quest’ ultimo vinsse il premio CAGNONI QUALITY REEDS per l’uso della fisarmonica nella musica pop Italiana.
Quando nel 1997 si scioglie, parte di loro fondagli Radiodervish mentre Stratos Diamantis ed Enzo Leone danno vita ai X Darawish insieme ad Angelo Pantaleo ,Kostis Maraveyas
e Mimmo Ricco.
Nel 1998 registrano il loro primo album, UNA RATSA MIA FATSA
(Fm Records; ripubblicato nel 2000 da il manifesto)
che frutta loro il premio POPnROCK del Conservatorio Fillipos Nakas di Atene
e della radio Rock Fm come miglior gruppo
emergente in Grecia del anno.
Partecipano a varie trsmissioni televisive nazionali e Festival Internazionali ecollaborano con vari artisti (Vassilis Saleas,
Andreas Papas, Dimitris Tsaousakis,Davide Viterbo).Nel 1998 producono insieme al famoso regista Greco “Nicos Soulis”il video clip del singolo Narghile’.Il cd single “Narghile’”viene scelto dalla Radio Francese RFI musique nella compilation “Top of European Pops”. Gli X DARAWISH rappresentano la Grecia e l’ Italia nella stessa compilation con I U2 ed il single ‘sweetest thing’ del Irlanda.
Nel 1999 esce il disco ‘Una ratsa mia fatsa’ in Gran Bretania recensito da Ian Aderson per la rivista ‘FOLK ROOTS’. Lo stesso anno gli X Darawish suonano al “ Dranouter Folk Festival’” in Belgio insieme a ( Nick Cave ,James Taylor, Levellers ..).
Nel 2000 il brano ‘Vassilikos’ si trova nelle playlist di radio Europee come la ‘ Radio 1’ del Belgio , ‘MultiKulti’ di Berlino .
Nel 2002 ancora in tour suonano ad Argos (Grecia) , Foggia (Italia) , insieme al loro nuovo cantante Dimosthenis Tsamis.
Partecipano al Festival Mditerraneo di Conversano come ospiti ,nel 2006 ai Festival ‘Musiche dal Mondo’ insieme a Bob Dylan.
Nel Marzo del 2008 e stato pubblicato in Grecia il loro nuovo lavoro con il titolo (DOMINO).

Μια πολυσυλλεκτική rock βραδιά στο OnStage Club, διοργανώνει το PMProom, με γνώμονα την ποικιλία στα ακούσματα και την πληθώρα των ηχητικών εκπλήξεων.
Οι WHATEVER θα αναλάβουν να «ζεστάνουν» το κοινό, με το ολόφρεσκο attitude τους και το δεμένο νεανικό τους line-up, με γραμμή κρούσης την frontwoman τους.
Στη συνέχεια, μια ιστορική στιγμή για την ελληνική rock σκηνή: η live επανεμφάνιση των ΝΙΠΤΩ ΤΑΣ ΧΕΙΡΑΣ, έπειτα από μια οκταετία μακριά από τα συναυλιακά δρώμενα. Μάλιστα, οι ΝΤΧ, θα γιορτάσουν εκείνη τη νύχτα τα 10 χρόνια από την κυκλοφορία του cult album τους «Η Οργή Είναι Το Κλειδί», παρουσιάζοντας ένα μικρό μα συμπαγές set με κομμάτια από το εν λόγω δίσκο, ένα κομμάτι από το EP «Προσευχή» του 2005, και μια-δυο εκπλήξεις, με τον ιδιαίτερο progressive crossover ήχο τους να δένει αρμονικά με τον ποιητικό και αιρετικό λόγο του frontman τους, Πάνου Πιλάτου.
Την ROCK OPTIONS NIGHT θα ολοκληρώσουν ιδανικά οι 9ΜΜ. Μια μπάντα με νέους ανθρώπους που, ωστόσο, έχουν διανύσει ο καθένας ξεχωριστά, είτε μαζί, μια ιδιαίτερη πολυσχιδής μουσική διαδρομή. Οι 9ΜΜ φωνάζουν, μιλάνε ψιθυριστά, μελωδικά, οι κιθάρες ουρλιάζουν, τα πλήκτρα ματώνουν, τα τύμπανα πονάνε, το μπάσο ρυθμίζει και ο λόγος άλλο

Το Σάββατο 10 Οκτωβρίου παίζουμε στο ΚΥΤΤΑΡΟ (το τελευταίο λάιβ μας στην Αθήνα για το 2009) με κομμάτια «εφ’ όλης της ύλης» αλλά και με καινούργια, ανέκδοτα τραγούδια που κατόπιν θα μπούμε να ηχογραφήσουμε
Σε κάθε σταγόνα βροχής, αντιστοιχεί κι από ένα ουράνιο τόξο...
...και ανήκει σε κάθε έναν από εμάς ! ! ! !
Εμείς κάναμε τις σταγόνες αυτές μελωδίες & χρώματα...
.....και ζωγραφίσαμε το δικό μας ουράνιο τόξο ! ! !
