Walking Amongst The Dead is a young but powerful band fresh out of the Missouri area. With a mixture of progressive metal guitar rhythms, violent breakdowns, and emotionally fired melodies, they prove to be the most cutting-edge and sound in the Midwest underground.
WATD combines the sounds of many modern hardcore acts such as August Burns Red, Suicide Silence, Oceano, The Devil Wears Prada, and Bring Me The Horizon. The intensity and enthusiasm of their live performance matches that of their recordings, and in fact, numerous audience members have spontaneously combusted within days of seeing the five-piece perform.
In the coming months of summer and the rest of 2009, WATD plans to release a full length album, which is currently in production, and most importantly spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ along with an overall positive and hate-free message.
