BIOGRAPHY:
X-Y was born at the end of 2006 from 4 young musicians all coming from various musical influences. Each of them had many band experiences before deciding to concentrate their energy on X-Y.
The goal was to compose modern rock music including electronic sounds and samples resulting in an efficient alternative music which follows the steps of bands like Linkin' Park, Muse and also System of a Down.
Less than a year after its creation, X-Y releases its 1st single "Alone" on the 3rd September 2007 and their 2nd one on the 13th December 2008.
X-Y won the 2 contests in which they participated which enabled them to record and finalize their songs in Studio.
The band had many interviews on local radios, TV chanels and newspapers from the French Riviera. They were also chosen by a major French TV chanel (M6) to participate, amongst hundreds of bands, in a huge contest all over France out of which they finished at the 11th position!
X-Y plays between 10 and 15 gigs a month all around pubs, festivals and city halls in Nice (French Riviera) and neighbour towns.

X-Y est né fin 2006 de l'union de 4 jeunes musiciens provenant d’univers musicaux différents. Chacun ayant eu auparavant diverses expériences de groupe avant de décider de concentrer leur énergie dans X-Y.
Le but du projet étant de faire de la musique rock actuelle en y rajoutant une importante part de musique électro avec notamment l'utilisation de samples. Il en résulte une musique alternative efficace à la croisée de chemins empruntés par des groupes de référence tels que Linkin' park, Muse ou encore System of a Down.
Moins d’un an après la création d’X-Y, le 3 Septembre 2007, le 1er single « Alone » sortira, en partenariat avec « Riviera Spectacles ». Il s’en suivra un 2ème single « Amnesia » le 13 décembre 2008.
X-Y à gagné les 2 tremplins auxquels il a participé, ce qui leur a permis d’enregistrer les 2 singles au sein des studios partenaires des événements (Art music et Studio Marylin).
Le groupe a eu 2 articles dans le journal « Nice-Matin », 2 reportages dans l'édition local de France 3 Côte d'azur ainsi que 2 interviews pour la radio Fréquence K sur laquelle leurs titres sont diffusés régulièrement. X-Y a également été sélectionné comme finaliste pour le concours « M6 Mobile, My music band » 2007 parmi plusieurs centaines de groupes dans toute la France pour un mois de compétitions entre les participants.
X-Y se produit entre 10 et 15 fois par mois dans les pubs de Nice et de sa région ainsi que sur les autres scènes et festivals locaux tout en composant leur futur album.

Wiem, że ma wystąpić Supergrupa, która swoimi występami wzbudza skrajne
emocje. Przed dwoma dniami, gdy w Poznaniu zawisły na słupach plakaty z
informacją o koncercie, pewien młody mężczyzna rozebrany do połowy, z
wytatuowanymi na klacie dużymi literami "SB" rzucił się z mostu do
Warty
krzycząc "... wypił ja niemnoga elixiru Boga!". Został wyłowiony,
przebywa w miejskim szpitalu na oddziale psychiatrycznym, gdzie narazie
został poddany detoksykacji. Mam informacje, że czuje się coraz lepiej,
nie nudzi się, w wolnych chwilach czyta "Moskwę Pietuszki".
Tak więc sami widzicie, że sobotniego wieczoru może być emocji co
niemiara ;)
