    Dear Madame Rosnay,

    Dear Mrs.
    de Rosnay,

with big enthusiasm I have read your book Sarahs key.

It..s a long time ago, that a book was so exciting and compelling. Your descriptions were so realistic and compelling. There were a lot of situations where I had a problem to choke back my tears. This book is so overwhelming and deep moving. I was really sad, when I have finished it. As a young girl I was with my school class at a conzentrationscamp in Buchenwald and as a special award at Ravensbrück (a conzentrationscamp only for woman) For a young girl or boy it..s a strange situation there, it..s not imaginable that people could be so cruel. I have read a lot of books at this time, in order to understand why this could happen, who were the people they did this atrocities, who were the victims… But it was unbearable. It..s a bit a shame, because how sad must feel the victims… It..s not easy to imagine all the pain and sorrow…

Your book is really gloomy, mournful and lasting. I could..nt find the right words in english to describe what I feel. But it..s such a special book and I..m really proud to have it here with me. I..m really thankful for it and I would wish, it would be a part of the lessons at school. It would be really important.

Wish you good health and luck for the future.

    With kind regards – Jana.
