Jeroen Mets is a Dutch DJ/producer. His first name is typical Dutch and since Dutch is hard to learn and even harder to speak, "foreigners" have trouble pronouncing "Jeroen". Let us help you by mentioning that "Jeroen" is roughly pronounced as "Yarune". ;)
Jeroen fell in love with dance music when he in 1998 bought his first Trance-CD. He loved tracks like "Southside Spinners - Luvstruck", the Three Drives On A Vinyl tracks and "System F - Out of the Blue". In 1999 he started producing club and trance tracks in FastTracker.
When he tried mixing with turntables at a friend in 2000 and managed to mix tracks he knew what he wanted. And so, in 2001, he bought his own turntables: crappy belt-driven ones. Damage: a crate of beer and 2 bottles of wine!
Yarune DJ-ed at a students club from 2000 and learned how to influence the crowd with music. He swapped the students club for his own internet-radioshow "Trance Tribunal" in May 2006 (with improved gear). This show is broadcasted twice per month on various internet stations.
With productions like "Airballoon" and "The Book Of The Water" (with Kopi Luwak) he enters the serious Trance producers area - both get played Menno de Jong's Intuition Radio show and yet more support is expected very soon. More productions are always on it's way from Yarune, better keep our eyes open for them!
