Evan Allen’s master vocal and songwriting skills, Mike Witherington brandishing a heavy, yet melodic lead guitar, Rob Breti filling it up with his leading style bass guitar licks, and Tony Rabachuk with all things percussion make this band a force to be reckoned with.
2005’s Dispensing Disaster, the first of two albums, was a highly acclaimed, independently recorded release that garnered the attention of several music critics who greatly enjoy their sound and professional attitude. This rallied Yeah Whatever’s® established fan base to make more and more demands to hear the band. Their dedication was rewarded with many local live shows which the band used to master their live performance dynamic, grow their fan base, and fill order requests for their clothing line, DropOut Designs. Also, an ‘in’ with B.C.’s television and movie industry dealt Yeah Whatever® the luck to be featured several times on screen and with audio presentations.
Yeah Whatever® now has their second full length recording under their belt. The title track, ‘Hell is Full’ is just one fine example of the haunting tracks on this rapturous five star disc that will leave you wanting more. The boys are now enjoying even more radio play, interview requests and merchandise orders that are difficult to keep up with. Up to this point, all marketing and promotion of the band has been done independently. The praise has been enormously satisfying and humbling, however Yeah Whatever® is ready to take it to the next level. While the band has previously fielded offers, they haven’t yet found the right fit for their vision. They are looking for the right representation with which to form a mutually beneficial relationship for years to come.

I just wanted to stop by to say hello and give you a little update on what Blood Root Mother is up to! We will be recording an EP of new music in August, and we recently finished recording a live DVD. The DVD is currently unreleased and I actually just saw it for the first time yesterday. It features the last two performances with Tony Ellis still alive, and some footage from the tribute show we played on the night of his funeral.
There are some cool covers, as well as some NEW music that will be on our upcoming EP. We're very excited about the new music and we'd like to share a sneak peak with you. Here's a link to the video for a new tune called Run Bobby Run:
