The history of the rockband YEARN'd starts back in september 2000 when some musicians from the neighbourhood of Tienen (Belgium) are joining forces. That's right, the band already exists 7,5 years which is quite unique to say the least. Throughout these years YEARN'd grew out to a great live-act and they played over 60 gigs (all in Belgium). For instance they hit the stages of Suikerrock (Tienen), Melkrock (Linter), 't Kuipke (Gent), Botanique (Brussels), VK*-Vaartkapoen (Brussels) and were locked up (and released again) in Antwerp prison to play three gigs. They also were support-act for bands like Mud Flow, A Brand, Camden, De Mens, Janez Dedt,... YEARN'd plays rockmusic and is influenced by bands from the sixties till present day but they were able to create their own fresh and catchy sound. The band recorded already eight demo-CD's. The last one's called 'Party animal'. YEARN'd is a band you really must see live!
