Sounds Like
Like everything you've heard before, like nothing you'll ever hear again...
After beginning as a writing project for HURL in late 2004, then FLUX in 2006 and 2007, We, that is Tim, Pete, and Kevin, realized that our collaborative, improvisational style was exactly the kind of thing that we were pursuing all along, and exactly what was was missing from the bands that we had been with.
The music you will hear from us is comprised of products of prolonged jam sessions. Each finished song is created by us out of sweet improvisation, love for music, and an excruciating amount of blood, sweat, and beers.
We will try to record as many sessions as possible, both for our reference and for you to hear. The music will range from good, chilled-out rock & roll, to blue-jazz, to stripped down funk, to math-rock that will leave you utterly flabbergasted.
In June, 2008, we welcomed our good friend Don Aliff into the band, to fulfill some vocal and much needed rhythm guitar duties to finally fill up our sound.
We hope you enjoy Y as much as we do. Concordantly, we hope that we enjoy Y as much as you do.

Check it out! I wrote a free book on music production! It's for total beginners, but if you aren't new to music production, maybe you'll still learn something... at least you can send it to your friends who always want to ask you a billion questions about music production! It's free so...
I remember when you guys were in Flux and I was just a freshman at Eastern. Neil was a super cool dude for offering to take me to one of the shows (which would have been one of my first shows) and liking cool music in general. Flux was cool and I always wondered what happened to them after I started my own band. So it's cool to see that you guys are still into it and playing around. The songs sound cool. Hope to see ya around sometime! -Jeremiah

The weasel war dance is a colloquial term for a behavior of excited ferrets and weasels. The war dance usually follows play or the successful capture of a toy or a stolen object. It consists of a frenzied series of sideways and backwards hops, often accompanied by an arched back, dooking or hissing noises, and a frizzy tail. Ferrets are notoriously clumsy in their surroundings during their dance and will often bump into or fall over objects and furniture. Although the weasel war dance may make a ferret appear frightened or angry, they are often just excited and are usually harmless to humans. This term is analogous to binky in rabbits and popcorning in guinea pigs.
