Legendary Australian comedy-rock band The Zarsoff Brothers have been performing and recording since 1979. Their live performances are now rare events, usually restricted to promotional tours of album releases. Frontman/bassist Izzy Foreal has until recently been working at the University of Queensland, and performed with his semi-acoustic outfit 'Paspalum', only recently removing himself from that lineup., Izzy is busy with a number of other music projects, including playing bass with the 'Hillbilly Blues Bandits', rehearsing up a new 60s tribute show 'The Yesterbeats', and doing semi-acoustic shows with various cohorts, as well as looking for musicians to put together 'Izzy Foreal & Associates'. Izzy is also about to start recording a children's album. Plans are afoot to record a new Zarsoffs studio album when time permits. Meanwhile, the 21st-century lineup is available for selected live gigs, performing the songs from their 2005 release 'Mixed Business'. A temporary version of the band has begun rehearsals for a possible string of dates in south east Queensland and northern NSW.
