Zastavarna Blues Band indulge in heavy electric blues of the 21st century. The band refuse to squeeze the blues genre in an old can or parrot the same old patterns forever. They love to enrich and upgrade the genre with all kinds of music ranging from jazz and funky to metal. That does not mean that ZBB do not respect the basic roots or great artists of the blues genre. Quite the opposite. At their shows the band often wanders through these ritual places in order to bring them to the modern days.
Zastavárna Blues Band have opened shows for several great artists of the Czech blues scene (Vladimir Misik or Lubos Andrst, for example). In addition to that, the colorful levels of their music also enabled ZBB to share the stage with „heavier“ bands and ensembles.
